L&L hero Trot Nixon has finally landed with a new team, signing a one-year, $3 million deal with the Cleveland Indians. Some loser named Joe Inglett already has Trot's usual number 7, so he'll be sporting number 33 for the Tribe. I'm already thinking about getting one of these, but we'll see.
This all means that the Indians have leap-frogged the Devil Rays and the Twins to become my second favorite AL-team, and perhaps passing the Cardinals as my 2nd favorite overall team. Boston will of course forever be #1, at least until the whole team tests positive for steroids or joins the Communist Party.
He'll be joining fellow ex-Red Soc Keith Foulke.
In other news, Boston still hasn't technically signed JD Drew and I just bought my first fantasy baseball preview guide. What? It's less than a month until pitchers and catchers report!

But the sooner spring training comes, the sooner the Cardinals won't be World Series champions... can we just relay last season?
Congrats for Trot. I'm kinda surprised the Cards wouldn't sign him for that kind of money, but apparently the organization wants a righty OF if anything and we haven't exactly solved our pitching problem (at least to my liking).
Oh, and I'm gonna upload a new facebook picture soon, make sure you check it out...
c'mon, no faith in a repeat?
cuz it's happened so much lately...
