today's headlines

Cold wet weather finally caught up with Pennsyelaware.

They're playing Tony Almeida's music.

Scrubs is back (for the last time).

VaTech totally screwed Wake Forest's pooch.

Hideki Okajima is a frighteningly important part of the Red Sox team.

Boyz II Men is still alive.

John Papelbon's stare pierces my soul.

I'm extremely concerned about Game Three: Daiskue in Coors Field, Youks forced to the bench.

But... Tony's a good guy! I guess his Cubs-fan-ness finally caught up with him...

In order for Wake to make the ACC championship BC would have to lose 2 games (since they beat us) and we'd have to run the table. Since that's unlikely, I'd like to at least see an ACC team in the national championship (I can't even remember the last time that happened...).

Okajima is a beast. I wish he'd throw his curve more, it's freakin' awesome.

Is it just me, or was there no melody in that rendition of "God Bless America"?

Actually, I'm much more scared of Papelbon's stuff than his stare.

The Rockies will probably win two games at Coors. Doubt they can beat Beckett, but it could happen. Dice-K will be in trouble.

I'm surprised everyone still doubts Shilling in the playoffs. Clearly his bad game was the anomaly, not the good ones.

I knew Tony was coming back, I didn't know he'd be a baddie until i saw the trailer. His wife was assassinated in a government operation so i suppose he has motive.

Wake in the championship game was a long shot, but it was still plausible until VaTech collapsed, and now it'd take a miracle.

I think the series will come back to Fenway too. Too many things working against the Sox - Youks on the bench, Ortiz in the field, shaky starting pitching, and the Rockies being such a better team at home.
