I finally played Halo 3 and beat the campaign mode. I really liked it. Per your style, my handful of criticisms:
Those Cortana/mother-flood flashes got really annoying after awhile. I understand they advanced the plot, but c'mon...
What's with the redundant weapons? An SMG, a battle rifle, AND an "assault rifle"? Is that really necessary? And the "assault rifle" (aka the battle rifle from Halo 1) is still worthless. I liked most of the new weapons though, especially the brute axe. Oooooooooh yeah.
I was upset at the ending until the bonus stuff after the credits. There's gotta be more games... right?
